Here, WhoScored.com take a look at the top five rated players to be Team of the Week…
5. Karljohan Ericsson (Dundee United) – 8.26 . rating
After charging nine players against Celtic last week, Carlijohan Ericsson leveled with a man of the match display in Dundee United’s 0-0 draw with Motherwell on Saturday. The 27-year-old made four saves in a tie at Fair Park, including a first-half penalty stop to deny Kevin Van Veen the opening goal, swinging between the sticks at 8.26.
4. Joe Newell (Hibernian) – 8.50 . rating
Joe Newell picked the perfect match to score his first league goal of the season as Hibernian netted a 1-0 win over Kilmarnock on Saturday. Three additional interventions saw the 29-year-old earn a WhoScored.com rating of 8.50.
3. Dre Wright (St. Johnston) – 8.54
St. Johnston managed a 3-0 win over St. Mirren at the weekend as Dre Wright put up a display as the man of the match. 1. Christian Montano (Livingston) – 9.42 . rating
With a rating of 9.42, left-back Christian Montano of Livingston is named the Scottish Premier League player of the week at WhoScored.com this week.
